Prairie Christmas

I am singing some of my Christmas songs with the Regina Symphony Orchestra on Dec 2nd .  I have, thanks to composer Fred Stride in Vancouver, managed to get his arrangement for Island Santa and I have a new arrangement for It Wouldn’t be Christmas Without You.  This song is one I wrote madly before a Christmas taping for the Tommy Banks show, way back when.  I was so pleased when he chose it to be part of his Christmas album of selections from his show.  Tommy Banks was a band leader that could follow a singer like nobodies business.  I think Gordon Gerrard, the conductor of the Regina Symphony, might give him a run for his money. He was great at the Jeffery Straker show this year. The arrangement was my Christmas present last year from Aleksi Campagne.  I am looking forward to being there for Prairie Christmas.  See you there and don’t forget the Shortbread!!!  Here’s Island Santa, without the orchestra from the Album, New Songs for an Old Celebration that I did with Roy Forbes.
