I Cant wait to see that ‘halo of dust round the combine lights out in the field”   The new recording “LOVE SASK” (you saw it here folks) is in the pressing stage and with fingers crossed will be ready for our dates in September. It’s a wonderful time to be out in the prairies and these three September dates are part of a western swing that includes harvest on the farm in Willowbunch.   Chokecherry syrup for everyone !   The concert in Calgary is a cobill with a long time friend and powerful performer Heather Bishop.   Friends, family, touring, harvest, and new recording, I am packing my bag right now.   See you there buy clomid tablets.

Live video from June

We have just posted a video from a live show in June. For those of you that have asked where is the Yak? Here it is clomid tablets. Did I really say those things? Hopefully the mens cologne initiative wont come after me. I hope you enjoy it. I did some wonderful festivals this summer. From one coast to another not to mention the farm fest right in the middle of the country. I am out west this fall, first to help with harvest in Willowbunch and then touring Saskatchewan and Alberta. It is a great time of year to be out in the big open country. Spring starts in Montreal and moves West

April 2013. We are recording these days, the cast is off and there are rehearsals and new songs being sung. We were hoping to have the new album out for the tour but a broken arm put us back by several weeks. I am amazed at how it is healing though. Guitar playing is the physio of choice. I did manage to do one original cast recording… I know I love bad puns and here is the video link

I hope it makes you smile. I can hardly wait to unveil it to Brandon.

I am going to catch a little of that spring on the prairies this year! yeah! Hopefully that will be with the “sun in your eyes” as opposed the “blizzard on the way”. I’m in recording at the moment so that means new songs to launch on the tour. Ive also planned some video recording in early April with the wildly talented Ian Strang. I am threatening to make my own video while my cast is still on. Yes I want to do an original cast recording. Keep your eyes open. All exciting stuff but I can hardly wait to get back on the road and see the lights go up. I get to start at the fabulous Segal Centre here in montreal. This is going to be a thrill to play in a series they call Women of the World. It is so great to be part of this series!

Canada Day at the Garden Party

This Canada Day I was singing in Regina at the Lieutenant Governor’s garden party. It was hot and sunny and the beautiful grounds were filled with about 3000 people looking for shade. I played this free family event with my family, Gabriel and Aleksi who are both working in Saskatchewan this summer and Paul who is out farming in Saskatchewan for July and August as well. It was great to sing as many of my Saskatchewan songs as I could in the time allotted. There is something about standing on a place where history has swirled around and to be part of a tradition. As well it is always nice to have a chance to sing back in my home town and have my mom in the audience. I am going to be working out of Saskatchewan this summer. I am looking out my window over the coolees as I write this note. I am trying to get as much writing in as possible and use the quiet to get some of my scoring projects finished.
I will keep you posted, me and the coyotes out here. Connie
